Sometimes you just need a sweet treat! That doesn’t mean go all out and indulge in something loaded with added sugars and processed ingredients. There are lots of healthy ways to hit the sweet spot besides just a piece of fruit. This freezer fudge is delicious and super easy to make! Heads up though, plan ahead of time because it does take 2 hours to settle in the freezer. They are about 130 calories per serving, so don’t go overboard and eat them all at once!
-1 cup almond butter
-3 tbsp coconut oil
-1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
-4oz quality dark chocolate- chopped
-1/2 tsp sea salt
-Cream almond butter, coconut oil, maple syrup, and sea salt in a mixing bowl
-Pour mixture into a small baking dish (8×6)- lined with parchment paper
-Top with chocolate and freeze for at least 2 hours
-Remove from freezer
-Carefully remove fudge by lifting parchment paper
-Cut into 1 in squares and ENJOY!
-Store any leftover fudge servings in freezer (separated by parchment paper)
