Starting a new fitness program can be overwhelming. With it comes a lot (in most cases) of lifestyle changes. You don’t have to feel alone or frustrated when it comes to planning during your program. I am here to help you with that! I have created a free, printable PiYo grocery shopping list.
Nutrition plays a very important role in success and progress on during your journey. I have read several articles that state that results are based upon 20% exercise and 80% nutrition. Applying this equation to your fitness journey will lead to long lasting results.
When creating your meal plan to follow for PiYo, you will want to make healthy choices. Eating as clean as you can will result in better progress and a healthier you. Unsure of what clean eating mean? Learn more here.
Typically, once your meal plan is ready to go then you would create your list and hit the grocery store. However, if you are unfamiliar with a healthy eating lifestyle, you may want to do these steps a bit differently. I would suggest taking a look at this list, it is what I consider to be a PiYo grocery list and covers all the bases when it comes to what to eat and what not to eat. If it’s NOT on this list (and you don’t find it in the PiYo guidebook) then you want to make sure you avoid it.
Here is my suggestion:
1. Look over the approved grocery list.
2. Create your meal plan based upon the foods that you enjoy…and maybe new foods that you want to try!
3. Hit the grocery store (and take this handy list with you!)
4. Meal prep for the week.
