It is true, I was skeptical when it came to an at home workout program, meal planning, and incorporating supplements other than a multivitamin.
I totally get it if you think the same, but the thing is that is was the one thing that actually worked! I used to go to the gym, I would run when the weather allowed, and I attended group workouts. I ate healthy for the most part and took care of myself. Even doing this, I still never really saw the “results” that I was expecting.
I was frustrated and figured, ok what have I got to lose? I was busy, I had a lot going on, and I wanted a change. So I told myself, okay I will give it 21 Days. I literally laughed out loud because I knew…this was NOT going to work. Here is where I stick my tail between my legs and say… it DID!
It was so simple. I promised myself that I would stick to it. I would follow it and I would give it my all. Along the way, I found so much more. Not only was it “working for me” but it was working for my entire family. We were enjoying healthy meals and physical activity as a family. To me, this was much better “results” than anything physical.
On top of the results I was seeing, I was also connecting with like-minded people. I was part of an accountability group. In this group there was so much support and everyone was so positive! It was really awesome. I tend to be a people pleaser and I tend to avoid conflict, so when I have negative nellies in my life, I tend to allow myself to become consumed with the negativity. This is NOT GOOD…for anyone! So this group helped me to see that not everyone is like that and by surrounding yourself with happy, supportive people, that you too become a happy and supportive person. So needless to say, I was really liking what I was experiencing.
I stuck to the program and I saw some really awesome results. Physical- I lost 6lbs and 9in. I dropped 2 pants sizes and I had more energy. I slept better and I got stronger. Overall- I felt better about myself and more confident. I set a better example for my family. I felt happier.
I will save the part about how I became a Coach, helped 100’s of people reach their goals, and made a full-time income working part time…until next time!
