I know that I talk about my Beachbody business quite a lot, and why should’t I?? There’s a lot to talk about and a lot to share. It is part of my life. The owner of any business/store/gym/etc talks about their business A LOT…how else does a business thrive without planning and growing.
Most people focus on the big things and all of the huge accomplishments of a business. The percentage growth, the revenue, the sales, and all of that other good stuff. Those things should definitely be recognized, but so should the little things. I was reflecting on the past year and a half that I have been a Coach and thinking about the little things; all of the little accomplishments and how they contributed to the business. Then suddenly it hit me!! These so called “little things” aren’t so little at all, in fact they are actually pretty huge when I think about it.
So here they are, some of the “little things”
-Last year when my son went to preschool, I was able to attend every single event at his school. I was able to be there for his birthday party and read to his class (without having to “call off” work). I made it to his Christmas program and to his open house. I was able to see his shining little face at the end of every class. He would run to me in the hall and yell “Mommy!!” Now that, for me, is HUGE.
-I have built a team of friends. My “co-workers” are awesome! I work with an awesome group of people… some mothers, some teachers, some full-time corporate business women, some photographers, some personal trainers. In my opinion, it doesn’t get much better than that! We have great conversations, we all have something to offer to one another, and more importantly we are all friends! I have had some jobs in the past with some not so desirable co-workers, so to me…this is huge!
-We can afford good, healthy groceries without worrying where we will get the money. Believe me, I know how it feels to live paycheck to paycheck and it is not the most ideal feeling. Having to wait til payday to hit up the gas station and the grocery store is stressful. Being a Beachbody Coach and working from home has allowed us to not have to live paycheck to paycheck. We can buy from the local farm, we can make sure our family is getting the nutrition we need in order to live healthy and happy. To some, worrying about buying groceries is a thought that will never cross their mind, but to me, not having to worry about it is huge!
-As a Coach I have helped 100’s of people reach their health and fitness goals. I have helped these people set a plan and I have helped them stay motivated and on track along the way. I have helped challengers lead a healthier lifestyle, come off of medications, and see that they truly are worth it. To me… that is huge!
-I can afford for my little ones to do the activities that they love. Not only can I send them to preschool without stressing over the tuition, but they can also enjoy organized activities. If you’re a parent, you know that dance, t-ball, soccer, gymnastics, and all of those other fun things are not cheap by any means!! Most require a registration fee, a monthly/seasonal fee, and equipment/uniform fees. These fees add up quite quickly. Working from home and generating income, I am able to afford for them to join the activities. Again, this is something that may be over looked because it is small and it seems like everyone plays some sort of sport these days, but to me…it is huge!
-I make my own schedule. Sounds a little silly and you might even think… who doesn’t really make their own schedule?? Everyone does in a sense make their own schedule and follow a path based on their choices, but I am talking about the freedom of my own schedule on any given day. Not having to report to a 9-5 allows me to create my own working schedule. I choose my hours to work, to be with the kids, to clean and take care of household tasks, and to play of course! Each day looks a little different based upon our daily plans. Some days I work 2 hours, some days 6, and some days none! That is another small luxury…taking a day and not working without having to worry about calling in sick or taking away a vacation day. Having this freedom is huge!
These are just a few of the little things that I really enjoy and in the end, aren’t really that little after all. I do want to add a small disclaimer to this post though… In no way shape or form am I bragging/boasting about the path I have chosen. I work very, very hard to continue this path. My husband and I in no way are “ballin.” We made the decision for me to stay at home with the kids, but we also knew at that time that living off of one income would just not work. Our mortgage, student loans, and car payment alone take a huge chunk of our income let alone the “little things.” So we made the decision that I would be a work from home mom and we would do what it takes to make that work. We compromise, we sacrifice, we work together to make this all happen. I didn’t just wake up one day and think I am going to become a Coach and instantly be a success. Every day is a work in progress and we tweak our lifestyle daily.
The Coaching opportunity can allow you to enjoy more of the little things too. I can help you to afford the small things. I will provide you with training, guidance, and the tools that you need in order to succeed. You don’t have to be a personal trainer or a sales person. You don’t have to be a healthcare professional or a marketing guru. You just have to have a desire to do more and to succeed. Together, we can do this!
Fill out this short form and I will get back to you soon!! I really look forward to hearing from you —->
